Our Story

Every table should get to play. Not prep.

FableBox builds D&D campaign kits so anyone can open the tin and run the dungeon that night. This is the story of why we started and what each kit ships.

The problem

FableBox exists because the bottleneck for a game night is not the rules, the dice, or the story. It's the prep — painting minis the night before, hunting for the right map, building stat blocks from scratch, scraping the VTT together. Every week, the same hours disappear into logistics, and then it's 11pm and someone is reading the module aloud for the first time.

The founding insight

We started making boxes for our own table: hand-painted miniatures, the maps already laid out, NPC cards ready to drop on the screen, the VTT import pre-wired. Open the tin, read the box, run the dungeon. That feeling — cracking a kit and being able to play that night — is the entire reason FableBox exists. Every kit is that night, pre-cooked.

Every FableBox ships these — the current cycle is The Sunken Crypt.
