Adventure PDF outline

The full chapter breakdown subscribers receive with the cycle, ready to drop into any virtual tabletop or print and run at the table.

  1. Chapter 1 — Marsh Approach

The party crosses the causeway outside Velton at dawn, meets the three guild liaisons, and accepts the audit commission. Includes the marsh-warden encounter, the causeway tide-cycle, and the first dossier decision.

  2. Chapter 2 — The Three Guildhouses

A guided tour through the Brasswright scaffolding, the Coincounter Scriptorium, and the Dredge-Runners' causeway. Tier 3–4 scaling notes and the Scriptorium's lost projection spelled out for the DM.

  3. Chapter 3 — The Audit

The full audit-draft prep, the anonymous petitioners' pivot, and the cornerstone vote at dawn on Day 5. Includes the moral pivot — which guild counts the cornerstone, and what the audit decides about the lost projection.

  4. Chapter 4 — Factions & Forum

The other guildhalls, the Cornerstone Forum's bystander roll table, and the audit-economy loot tables keyed to the Brass Court. Side-quests for parties who want to extend the audit into a tribunal.

  5. Appendix A — Factions & Allies

The Velton Brasswright Apprentice Cohort, the Order of the Scriptorium, and a roll table for the causeway transit the party met in Session 1. Designed so the cycle bleeds into the next one.

  6. Appendix B — VTT Setup Notes

Grid sizes, wall layers, and dynamic-light setup for Foundry VTT so the DM can drop the Brass Court into a fresh world in under thirty minutes.

Printable handouts

A printable set for the DM and the table — maps, faction cards, and a Session Zero worksheet that ties player backstories into the cycle.

  • Causeway Approach Map

    A4 PDF · 2 pages

A fold-out top-down map of the marshland north of Y'Drahn and the causeway crossing, with DC check markers for the marsh-warden encounter.

  • Guild Liaison Reference Cards

    A5 cards · 4 pages

Four double-sided cards covering Brasswright Seneschal Pell, Coincounter Scribe Vash, Dredge-Runner Foreman Oren, and the Velton Merchant Consortium — quick-reference portraits, goals, and trust levels.

  • Player Handout — The Lost Projection

    A4 PDF · 1 page

A black-and-white handout the DM can hand to the table so the players can piece together the Scriptorium's missing entry from the carved cornerstone ledger.

  • Loot & Reward Tracker

    A4 PDF · 1 page

A print-and-fill tracker for each chapter's rewarded XP and gold, with a checkbox column for the DM to mark when audit deductions are filed.

  • Session Zero Worksheet

    A4 PDF · 2 pages

A subscriber-only worksheet that walks the DM through connecting each player's backstory to the cornerstone vote before Session 1 begins.

Bonus content

Subscriber-only extras: pre-built VTT layers, audio cues, and the members-only Discord channel where tables running this cycle share notes.

  • VTT Pre-built Lighting Layers for Foundry

Drop-in dynamic-light, sound, and ambient-fog layers for the marsh approach, the three guildhouses, and the Auditor's Lodge. Subscribers drop them into a fresh world and the lighting matches the audit beats.

  • DM-only Audio Cues (MP3)

A 25-minute audio bed of low cloud, marsh wind, and a low choral drone that runs underneath the audit draft. Loops cleanly so the DM can run it as long as the audit needs.

  • Subscriber-only Discord Channel

A monthly discussion thread for $35 members running The Brass Court with their own groups. Share audit notes, ask the design team questions, and read campaign logs from other tables.

Subscriber questions

The answers subscribers ask most before they join. Click a question to expand it.

1. When does each monthly bundle ship?

Each cycle drops on the first Tuesday of the month. The adventure PDF outline, printable handouts, and bonus content unlock in your member library at midnight UTC, and any printed kit for that cycle goes out the same week. Subscribers get an email the morning it goes live so you can grab the VTT and handouts before your next session.

2. What file format are the handouts and adventure PDF in?

The adventure PDF is a standard letter-size PDF bookmarked by chapter so it drops into any VTT or preview app. Printable handouts ship as a mix of A4 PDF, A5 cards, and US Letter PDF — each handout notes its format and page count on the bundle page so you can print only what your table needs. VTT setup notes cover Foundry, Roll20, and D&D Beyond, and bonus audio is delivered as MP3.

3. What happens if I cancel mid-cycle?

You can cancel any time from your member link — there is no support ticket or email back-and-forth. If you cancel before the next cycle ships, you keep everything from every cycle you have already received (PDFs, handouts, VTT files, bonus audio), and the printed kit you already own stays yours either way. Membership just stops renewing, and the next cycle does not drop into your library.

4. Do I keep access to past cycles after I cancel?

Yes. Every cycle you unlocked while your membership was active stays in your member library indefinitely. You can re-download PDFs, handouts, VTT files, and bonus content any time, with or without an active subscription. Cancelling only stops the *next* cycle from being added.

5. Does the bundle work for groups of any size?

The chapter outlines and VTT files are written for the standard D&D party of four to five characters but include Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 scaling notes so you can re-tune every encounter for a table of three or a table of seven. The handouts (faction ally cards, the Mural Gallery player handout, the Loot & Reward Tracker) are designed to be printed once for the table regardless of how many players are at it.

6. Do I still need to buy the physical kit to get the bundle?

The digital subscriber bundle is included free for active Monthly Subscription members — it is its own tier at $35/month. You do not need to buy a printed kit to access the PDFs, handouts, VTT files, and bonus audio. The physical First Kit is sold separately for people who want the tin, miniatures, and maps on the table.

7. Can I share the bundle with my whole group?

Your member link unlocks the digital content for one membership holder, but the handouts and VTT files are explicitly licensed for your whole gaming group. Print the faction cards for the table, drop the VTT lighting into your shared world, and use the player handout at the session. The printed kit is yours to use at multiple tables; we just ask that you do not redistribute the source files publicly.
